Oh, in case you don’t know, I’m from Kuching, the capital city of Sarawak which located on the Borneo Island. It’s the fourth largest city in Malaysia and the most populous city on the Borneo island. It’s a very interesting city that not much people knows about it.

Usually, this is what the people thinks of…

KUCHING

πŸ˜›

Will tell you more about my little city in future. πŸ™‚

Oh anyone here been there before or are from Kuching, please raise up your paws!!

    Reply:
Hehehe yep, that one really humongous but it’s not a mosque, it’s our Sarawak State Legislative Assembly Building (Dewan Undangan Negeri -DUN).
I believe the design is based on one of our Dayak buildings.

i’m a west malaysian, i totally disagree with the west malaysian thinking.. only those who are too lazy to read, to travel and seek more info will think like that, and sibu is my home town.

    Reply:
Hehehe so that’s why i put the word “some” in front of “West Msian”
true true.. most of the new age friends know it’s not like that from the internet.. Long live internet!! XD

but those who only stick to old media (national TV/papers) for info will ask me these questions..XD so i usually bluff them. XD haha

Do you speak Fu Zhou ? LOL. I have a lot of companions who came from West Malaysia.

PS – Just a side note, it’s just one country, why east and west? πŸ˜›

    Reply:
I don’t. I’m not from Sibu. πŸ™‚ Fu Zhou is the main dialect in Sibu, Sarawak but no in other districts.

Well, one is we are different in terms of culture, people, and many other aspects due to our history background and demographic.
Another is because we are treated differently, not as one.

If you really check back to the history and formation of Federation Malaysia.
The Federation consists of 3(4) separate entities with separate autonomy, and we suppose to be separate but united.
Sadly, the history is altered, rights are ignored, agreement are broken. ^^” Long story.
