The Weekend Ruined by My Trying-to-Smart-Anti-Virus

Visited the zoo on Saturday to test out a zoom lens and meeting up with my cousins and animal friends. Was going to blog about it yesterday but fail to, all thanks to my trying-to-be-smart-anti-virus. It found a virus in my CF card, warned me about it and then deleted it…together with my photos!!!

GARGHH!!!

Β T3T Super Duper Whooper Burger Sad!! Β There were some very very nice shots!!!

Photos is like one of the two things I can’t afford to lose. >.< The other one is my drawings. Its hard/impossible to get them back once its lost. The rest we can always download… opps I mean buy.

Actually you can recover back all the files…the files might be deleted but nor for permanent..the data still available in your memory card AS LONG AS you never take much new photos..you can download the software to try to recover it..I’ve lost once over 400 pictures and i cleared my recycle bin as well that time…so i google n found the software..able to recover all the 400+ photos just by scanning the memory card..try and see

Are you sure that the photos are actually deleted? Sometimes, the virus will turn your folders and files superhidden. It’s rare for viruses to modify your pics because those files are not executable and hence won’t do anything. When you check your memory card’s property, do you still see there are spaces being used up? Because if there are, and if it’s similar to the size used up before your pics were deleted by AV, most probably your files are still there, only superhidden.

Checked. its in there but was the memory card formatted after that by my friend πŸ™ huhuhu
