Sarawak and Labuan don’t have a public holiday on Deepavali?? :O

Probably because the Indian community is small here.. We don’t have much indian restaurant too and mamak basically doesn’t exist in Sarawak.
some schools and company will special request holiday for this day tho.

sarawak and sadah didn’t have holidays??… they say. 1 malaysia right… i think got holidays…. mayb……

Nope, no holiday for almost 48 years..but we have Gawai holidays.
Well, the only holiday given to us was our Independence day on the 16 of Sept.

my uni got two weeks of holidays starting today. and now i’m back in miri where there are no public holiday. so good to be home ;P

Now only i knew sarawak and labuan don’t have public holiday on Deepavali day.. my school have one day off for Deevapali, but i didnt try any indian food. how sad..

tiada cuti di sarawak kerja macam biasa. my friends ambil cuti seminggu balik kampung di Seremban dan Johor. tapi saya pernah tercuti deepavali ketika first time di Sarawak. hehe….
